I read this.
This book is amazing. Focusing on only Wisconsin plants, weather, soil and pests it walks you through the specifics of creating an epic home garden emphasizing the importance of organics and natural fertilizers. It also outlines specific vegetables and flowers, and profiles how best to grow them. Whether flower or veggie, in doors or out, containers or raised bed, it makes me so excited for next spring I can barely contain myself. The only problem is that my little patch 'o' backyard that the last book I read, Urban Homesteader, made me so excited for is obviously and sadly way to small to accomplish all the nice ideas presented in this book. But as a resource, I couldn't imagine a more useful guide.
